What to buy for a friend + gift ideas for teen

You see graduation for the senior in the class of 2014 is coming! I am graduating this year, too!
Are you planning to buy something for the graduates? 

Or your friends or your siblings are going to have their birthday soon? 

What to buy for them as their present? Will they like what I bought for them? 

First of all, buy things that they will used. Don't buy food. Food can be finished easily and do you really want to get food as a gift? I mean yes, sometimes I love accepting food but I love present that brings out memories to me. You could keep the food wrapper as the memories if you want (duh~). Don't buy a graduation type bear. I had seen many of the bears had been sitting at the corner of the rooms to collect dust. The graduation-type-bear is very seasonal and you might only just take pictures of it during graduation.

I always am the one who like reading hand wrote letter or card. It gives me the feeling of warmth and makes me feel important. Someone used their time to write something just for me. Something that they think about me and memories we share. Aren't this the best ideas? You don't really need money for this present and everyone likes it! It's simple, fast and different! I normally draw or doodle something I thought about that person and BAM! They love it! I try to make it fun by making some jokes of it. Usually, I'll write some advice and even something like 10 things I like about you. Why not? You maybe won't see he/she anymore if he/she is graduating! Write a page full to show that you really care about them(that's okay if you can't write so many, don't force yourself!). This idea can be great if some of your friends don't want you to give them a gift. They can always take it out and read what happened in high school.

Buy things that they love. But the thing is what he/she loves? People always talk about what they love, so listen to them and you will get the answer! Believe me, this work! If you're dealing with the shy one, try observing what they often do. Teenager loves following the trend. I am not saying every teen did that. However, we tend to follow what is big and cool for us. For example, instax mini! Get them now at amazon here. Want a cheaper option? If you're friend is addicted to take photos, then buy a fisheye lens for their phone. It's a lot funner to take photo using this and your friend will totally thank you for this! Get them at $3.79 now at amazon! As a teen, I love high-tech stuff. Everything high technology make me feel cool and fancy. I know it's weird but who cares?

Wait, do you think the above suggestions are too normal? You need something extra for your bestfriend? Let's just said that we understand our bestfriends and know exactly what you likes or don't. That's the problem! Too much information of  them! We don't know what to choose! If you really can't decide one, then maybe you put all in one! I like to call it a box of surprises! You can prepare a box and filled it up with things he/she loved. A book, some snacks, a card you made, a necklace that you have a similar one and a shirt! A little bit of everything! I, myself love something like this! For me, a gift is not enough(I am way too greedy)! I want more! Hey, don't act like you didn't feel the same way! I know I am not the only one who feel like this.

On a budget? Make a gift by using your hands! When you DIY, make sure the product is practical and beautiful. Ain't nobody like ugly things, right? You can buy  t-shirts and transform them into trendy tops. It's easy! Don't know how to do it? They're thousands off ideas for this! I will link some videos from YouTube here. Or just think of it yourself! Go to pinterest to find inspirations! I swear you can find one there! If you're good in drawing, why don't you buy a white top and draw something with a fabric marker? This will be awesome, right? I appreciate handmade stuff because I think they're limited edition for me and special. They used their hearts to prepare this for me! And I am not going to throw them away!

Branded stuff? If you have money, then sure! Who don't like to receive a branded or designer stuff? I mean everyone like the quality of it. It's not like it's a must haves still people love it. As a teenager, we are surrounded with some many thinking. And one of it is that branded stuff is equal to upper class people. But let me clarify this, we're still teenager, we don't really need them! We didn't even learn to earn money yet, so what's the reason to spend so much of money for one thing that we can buy in a lower price range? If you already earn money, then it won't be a problem with you. We must understand, buy what we can afford, don't go in debt because you wanted enjoy the pleasure the brand gives you. Everyone has it doesn't mean that you need one, too. Be wise and think before you use every penny you have.

Things you buy to a teen is really come from your heart. Buy what you think is useful for them. As always, have a nice day!

I want to make friends online mainly because I am tired. I am tired of observing my friends whether he/she is in mood to chat. I am tired of the limited chat time we have. I am tired of the restricted topics that we can chat with our friends. I want more friends. I wanted friends from all around the world! Do you feel the same, too? I mean, I feel cool if I have friends all around the world! Isn't it sound fun already?

Firstly, I am not people who are antisocial but I love talking with my friends. The things are sometimes you want something new. I personally enjoy making new friends in real life but still you won't open up and start chatting anything you want we he/she right? Maybe you do, but not me.

"Can I make real friends?"
"Is it easy?"

Yes, yes and yes! But you must be safe with yourself first. Don't get into sensitive issues, then you will be alright! Don't explore your personal information too much and be smart and mature!

You can find a lot of sites and apps to start finding. And make sure to read the reviews on it. Find sites that have a lot of active members throughout the world to increase the rate of meeting new people. It isn't easy at the beginning as you might not get any friends. But if you're keep sending message to people, the chance is they will reply you. The more you send, the more replies you'll get. It's fascinating that there are a lot of people out there waiting for you to talk with them.

My first online-making-friends site. This is good as it has nice people. You can set up a profile and share your images. You can tell people who you are looking, for instance, I want friends who is funny and interesting. I had met a pervert but only once. People there don't reply to simple 'hi' message. You can message to them like this:

Hi! I am XXX from XXX. I want to make friends all around the world! I am like that boy band you mentioned in your profile! Do you like the XXX boy band, too? I really love that! 

You can send the similarities you have with that people. Ask her a questions, so he/she will have a reason to reply you. I normally ask them about their hobby and interest and talk about that. Put a profile picture as this will more people to talk with you. Be sure to be nice and everything will come later. I stop using this because I tend to spend too much times on this. It's like pen pals without waiting. And it's exciting when you see your inbox keep popping out new messages. Plus, it's free! What do you expect more?

Friends Talk

This is an app! Super easy to use!You add friends if you want to after chatting with he/she! I find a lot of real friends that will keep in contract with you. Normally, people will just disappear after few chats but not this! There are really nice and friendly people there! You can put your profile picture here and there are a lot of members in this site and you can find someone to chat with you easily. You must remember, when you're judging people, people judge you, too. Don't be sad if they didn't reply, just try another one. You can find someone that have same interest with you without an ease! I really recommend this as I didn't found any pervert here! It can't send pictures at the chat but overall it works fine! And high reviews for this app!

Chatous

This is the latest app that I tried out. After using, the above two, I am tired of people judge you by the profile picture. If you look good, you get a lot of attention and people persuade you. If you're not good-looking, people tends to not reply your messages. That's the reality in the world we're living. This app is completely random and for the people who just want a chat. Not really a friend but someone just wanted to chat. You can leave the conversations if you're done with that people or if you don't like that people. Also, people can leave their conversations with you! You will meet a lot of racist there and of course I don't really mind it since I do the same too. This app is very real. You don't need a profile picture and really you just filled out the very basic information! You can change your name as many times as you want, to protect your identity. You can chat with people who chose the same #hashtag! They share expiring photo. The photo will expire in a few seconds and people can only see the photo in that amount of times. This app is only suitable for those who wanted some random chat! This app has high reviews, too.

Above are my reviews of these websites and apps. I gain more knowledge and understand more cultures from other countries. It's fun and interesting. Be careful when you're trying them out. Be friendly. Don't trust people easily. Overall, it's a good experience for me to explore the world. Life is all about changing. You can change the way you make a friends and you might find something useful for you! Give it a try and perhaps you find your soul mates! Have a nice day!

What to do in holiday (summer at home)

Hmm... 

What cha do in holiday? Vacation? Beach? Or nothing?

For me, I am always thinking about what to do. What should I do? Most importantly, what can I do?

Although, going out might be fun but sometimes you might just have no choice and need to stay at home. Or you're too lazy to get up and go out. I did feel the same way sometimes, feels that it is a lot easier to snug in my bedroom and don't want to judge by anyone.

Things I do that is fun for me during holiday at home!

1. Social Media

You guess it! I go to YouTube, Tumblr, Pinterest and Facebook. I am such a huge fans for youtube and I honestly think I can watch hundreds of videos everyday! Tumblr is just like a mini blog and it is widely used now and I just scroll through the thing like what I do in Facebook! I love seeing those beautiful images from the pinterest's users. They're so creative and informative!

2. Books

I know it sounds nerdy yet it is the best thing you can do! I am not asking you to read your textbook but still if you want to read them, go ahead! I usually read young adult novels. For instance, Divergent and The Fault in Ours Star. Somehow, I don't really like fantasy novels because I find them difficult to imagine, so I rather watch the movies. I know there're loads of people love fantasy novel but not me. Sometimes, I love reading something that I am interested in like cute romantic stories or really just some chic lit type of books. For books that more intense, I love reading those self-help or so called self enrichment books. I know it's weird and people always asked me why I am reading it. I think they have things that I could learn to improve myself. The main thing is that I wanted to be successful (yes, successful!). Books like 'How to be happy', 'How to improve your memory' and stuff like that really catches my eyes. If you have any book suggestions, tell me at the comment section below! I have been in a book hunt recently!

3. Photography

Yeah, kinda random but I love to take photos of the clouds and anything that I love. Photo is a good way to capture and freeze a moment that can be last forever. You might not be a professional photographer, however it do not take a professional to take pictures! Just take some photos and share it with your family or friends if you want. Keep them in your album if you're shy to show them. If you like me, love to look at your childhood pictures, then you'll probably want to see your teenage pictures when you're an adult. Don't just take selfie. Imagine that you can only see your face of you as a child because your parent helped you to take selfie when you're young. What will you think? Horrible, right? You might just get bored by your own face.

4. Try to cook

It's a hidden talent in everyone! We're suppose to cook for ourselves when we're an adult. It's a responsibilities to cook for your kids. You can either asked your mum to teach you or learn from some cook show! It's easy! Ingredients+how to cook=delicious dishes. But wait, of course you need to practice and try to cook! It is always the hardest at the beginning! Don't give up!

5. Update your journal

Not everyone has the habit to write everyday! I bet you didn't! Journal for me is like a documentary of your life and I always enjoy reading my old diaries. The way I think when I was in elementary school always make me laugh like a fool. Buy a book that you like so you will be excited to write everyday! I love to write on a book instead on a laptop since when you're writing, you can see your limited edition, one and only handwriting! You can doodle easily and paste pictures in it. I had tried to write daily but I failed. I forget them and I usually update them once in a month. Yeah, only twelve pages every year! That's why writing journal in summer is essentials for me!

6. Clean your room!

How long since the last time you clean your room? Yesterday? Last week? or last month? Don't get lazy with your room. You sleep there, play there, dance there and do a lot of things there! How can you leave them with a mess everyday? Lack of inspiration to clean your room? It is not always easy to get up and and clean. But trust me, you will be so proud and thankful to yourself after cleaning them! And don't forget your closet, too.

7. TV marathon

I love watching telly although it is slightly unhealthy for us. But who don't like a good tv shows? Or movies?
What I always do is stop watching after 2-3 hours of the shows since your eyeballs need some rest! Rest for an hour or two. Then, I will continue my marathon. Remember to stop for awhile. Of course, holiday isn't fun with only tv shows. This is just a reward from me to myself after studying for a whole semester.

8. Make some new friends!

Hello? How to make friends when you're at home? Easy! You can find friends on  internet but be careful when you're making one. Go to a site where it is safe and has good reviews. Be nice and friendly, then you will make new friends in no time! Click here for more information.

9. Learn something new

For example, learn how to play a guitar or take a courses from a website. Khan academy is good if you want to learn something.
